The Hemostatic pad Esculape consists of a rubber band the back end wherein is inserted a squared foam pad and a pad which allows the absorption of blood. The elastic band is attached by a Velcro system performing a voltage around the limb of the device
The compression pad helps stop bleeding by replacing manual compression:
- The restraining force and the density of the buffer replaces the necessary compression point for any significant bleeding
