The Action4 NG model from Invacare is a very comfort and stable self propelled wheelchair thanks to the newly designed cross bar frame. The improved frame design means that this wheelchair folds to a very compact form and will store easily behind a car seat once the wheels are removed. This operation is made far easier due to its lightweight of just 8.3KGs without wheels.

The backrest is height adjustable as well as armrest and footrest height. Once clever improvement is the ability to increase the seat depth by up to 5cm. Another useful feature to ensure good postural positioning is the rear wheel adjustment, with a choice of 20 positions that vary the wheelbase length and seat height thus changing the centre of gravity and effectively the back rest angle between 0° / 7° / 0° - 30° / – 6° - +24° range. The Action 4 is available in 15" 16" 17" 18" and 19" seat widths and is available in a choice of frame colours all with black nylon upholstery.
