Www.girodmedical.co.uk is a website that exclusively belongs to the company Girodmedical Ltd and whose Girodmedical is the only operator and administrator.
By ordering on this website (or by any other means such as phone orders), the customer will be considered to agree to the below mentioned terms.

1 - PRICING
Girodmedical is open to both professionals and individuals. Prices are the same for all our customers. They are listed in Sterling Pound, inclusive of British VAT at the appropriate rate. However, they do not include processing and shipping fees.
Regarding orders overseas, you are considered as the importer of the product(s) concerned. The price of any product shipped overseas will be automatically calculated without VAT on the final invoice. Customs duties, other local taxes, import duties, or state taxes may apply. These duties and taxes do not fall under Girodmedical’s responsibility. You will be fully responsible for any customs claims and/or additional charges for customs clearance in your country. We advise you to contact your local authorities for further information.
GIRODMEDICAL reserves the right to refuse any order in case the delivery address is overseas.
Any order should be paid in Sterling Pound, regardless the country from which this order emanates.
GIRODMEDICAL reserves the right to modify prices at any time without notice. However, you will be invoiced the prices displayed on the day of your order. The products remain GIRODMEDICAL’s property until full payment is received.
2 - ORDERING
To order, you can either:

GIRODMEDICAL reserves the right to reject any order from a customer with whom there is a current dispute over the payment of a former order (same name or same address). As a general principle, GIRODMEDICAL reserves the right to reject or cancel any transaction, should its nature or source seem questionable.
3 – SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER
When you click the ‘Place your order’ button at the end of the ordering process, you will be considered to agree to this order and the present terms and conditions of sale without reserve. All data recorded by GIRODMEDICAL constitute a proof for all transactions between GIRODMEDICAL and the customer. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof for financial transactions.
4 - AVAILABILITY
Special offers and prices remain valid as long as:
- they are displayed on our website,
- the concerned items are available.
The validity of special offers on items which would not be available in our fulfillment centre at the time of the order depends on the availability of those items with the suppliers.
In case of postponed availability, estimation or shortage, you will be informed by e-mail as soon as possible. You would then be able to call 020 3445 5311 to either cancel or change your order.
In case of shortage of part of or all your order, you will be refunded no later than thirty days after GIRODMEDCAL received your payment.
5 - DELIVERY
Your items will be dispatched, via HDNL or DHL, to the delivery address provided at the order registration. Beware that you will not be notified of the delivery day. However, GIRODMEDICAL reserves the right to dispatch items separately. In that case, delivery fees will be charged only once, regardless the number of shipment(s).
GIRODMEDICAL cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delayed delivery.
Items transit at the customer’s own risk. On the delivery day, it is important to check the state of your parcel and its content. Any damage needs be reported on the delivery form handed by the carrier.
We would like to point out the necessity to check the contents of the parcel when delivered. Very often the carrier makes you feel that they are in a hurry. However, it is their duty to wait for you to confirm the good condition of the items received. To make sure your rights are respected, it is important to clearly and precisely claim any damage on the parcel or its content on the delivery form. ‘Subject to verification ‘or ‘Subject to opening’ have no legal value.
If you do not make any reservation when you receive the parcel, you automatically relieve the carrier from any liability. Any damage noticed or reported later will fall under the warranty conditions given by the manufacturer (Please note that the return shipping fees are at your expense. The warranty conditions never include signs of wear. Upholsteries of massage tables are never covered either.)
DAMAGE PACKAGE CLAIM PROCESS
On the delivery day, we ask you to check the number of packages you receive and their good conditions before you sign the delivery form. If some items are damaged or missing, you systematically need to make reservations on the delivery form handed by carrier. You then have 24 hours to write to our customer service or 3 clear days to send us recorded letter with acknowledgment of receipt. If you fail to follow the steps of the claim process, you will be held responsible in case of a dispute.
Girodmedical cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delayed delivery.
Should the delivery address be overseas, you may be subject to customs duties or other local taxes, which are levied when the package reaches its destination. Duties and taxes clearance linked to the delivery of those items must be borne by you. It is up to the customer ONLY to check the customs duties and taxes that apply in the delivery country. For further information, we recommend you to contact the relevant authorities in your country.
6 - PAYMENT
Orders can be paid:

- via bank wire transfer
- via PayPal

- via Maestro card
7 – SECURED PAYMENT
Your transactions are secured and guaranteed by RBS WorldPay.
To guarantee full security of your payment online, Girodmedical does not have access to your bank card numbers.
8 - RIGHT OF RETRACTION - SATISFIED OR YOUR MONEY BACK
It is our goal at Girodmedical that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, we allow you 7 working days in order to return a product that does not meet your expectations. Your right of retraction starts from the moment your order is delivered. A product purchased from our website can be returned if:
- you are not satisfied with the product or you find it unsuitable,
- the product is incorrect due to a mispick or misinformation,
- the product is faulty or damaged. Please note that you should, upon delivery of the goods and before signing in the delivery note, check the number of parcels and their condition,
Goods must be returned as sold i.e. we are only able to accept items that have not been worn, altered or used. They should be in resalable condition and in the original packaging. Any free gifts or other additional items bundled with the products must also be returned.

How do I make a return?
We are working in partnership with Collect+ to offer you convenient returns at your local shop.
First, please obtain returns authorisation and a Collect+ label by contacting Girodmedical on 020 3445 5311 then follow these simple steps:
1. We will email you a Collect+ returns label, print this off and attach it to your parcel, ensuring any delivery labels are covered.
2. Simply take your parcel to ANY of 3,500 local stores offering Collect+ services. Most are open early ‘til late, 7 days a week, making returns as convenient as possible for you.
3. You’ll receive proof of postage and a code to track your return online. Please ensure you keep your receipt safe.

- depending on the reason for the return, we will supply you via e-mail with a return mailing label that you should print out. It will allow for a free collection of the item by one of our providers, i.e. postage fees will be covered, please call our customer service centre on 020 3318 5303 in order to obtain more information,
- repackage your item and include a short covering letter explaining why you return the item(s) and your banking details.
Note: failure to meet the above criteria may result in the return being rejected.

Regrettably, we cannot accept returns for any items of sanitary nature (for instance: syringes, needles, incontinence products etc.) or any software that has been unpacked.
After we receive your return, there are two courses of action we can take:
- if you still wish to receive the product f.e. if the product was incorrect due to misinformation or due to manufacturing fault, we will rectify the problem and send you the correct item,
- if you wish to be reimbursed, we will refund you within 30 days following our decision to accept the return.
For your information, these are the average delays in processing your query:
- 3 to 5 business days for us to receive your return from the shipping company,
- 3 to 5 business days for us to process your return, plus
- the time it takes your bank to process our refund request.
Girodmedical will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.
9 – PRODUCT INFORMATION
Girodmedical carefully publishes and updates the main features of each product, which include technical specifications and pictures provided by our partners and suppliers. Those descriptions are provided within the technical limits, and in total compliance with best market standards. The pictures of our products are not contractual.
10 – DISPUTES
Any dispute occurring over an order (for instance over its processing, interpretation, validity, cancellation…) will be arbitrated by the European substantive law (both substantive and formal laws). This excludes all provisions of the Vienna Convention (April 11, 1980) regarding international sale of goods.
Any dispute occurring over a sale (for instance over its registration, management, supply, payment…) will be subject to the jurisdiction governing GIRODMEDICAL headquarters. This clause applies notwithstanding any contrary clause, even in case of summary judgment or multiple defendants, and regardless of the payment method.
11 - WARRANTY
The warranty of our products is limited to the period indicated at the bottom of each product description. Defects or damages due to abusive use, careless unpacking (for instance: cutter blade stab), accident or natural wear, are excluded from the warranty conditions. For further information about warranty, we invite you to contact our customer services.
When the item ordered requires specific optional choices (for instance: Foam density or thickness, massage couch dimensions), GIRODMEDICAL will not accept to cancel, refund or postpone this order.
12 - TELEPHONE TRANSACTION
Payment using your credit card can also be made by calling this number: 020 3445 5311. An operator will help you complete this transaction. They will notably ask you the card number, the expiry date and the security code (CVV).
The operator will dial the numbers given on the countertop payment terminal. We inform you that those numbers will not be stored.
We will confirm your payment immediately.
