Individually wrapped in boxes of 100 blades packed in single foil packs.
The sterility of the products is obtained by irradiation with cobalt 60 in the Swann-Morton unit based in Sheffield (UK) and checked by the Swann-Morton microbiology laboratory (Microbiological Laboratary Services) Ltd.
Swann-Morton Ltd is ISO 13485 accredited, and applies the CE marking on its products in accordance with European Directive 93/42/EEC on Medical Devices. The standard surgical blades and handles are manufactured to BS 2982 and ISO 7740 standards.
Swann-Morton ensures that all packaging materials are in compliance with European Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste.
